Russia: Tolmachevy Twins take part in 2014

Anastasiya and Maria Tolmachevy are the Russian participants for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. The winning twins of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2006 have been selected internally by broadcaster Russia-1.

After winning the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006, the twins appeared in the opening act of the first semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009. Now they will take part in the first semifinal in Copenhagen. A title of their song has not been announced.

Last year in Malmö, Nevena Božović became the first former Junior Eurovision participant to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest. As a part of Serbia’s Moje 3, she failed to qualify to the final.
