Salvador Sobral will perform at Eurovision 2018

Salvador Sobral will perform at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The winner of last year has been confirmed for the line-up of the opening and interval acts for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest.

It is a tradition that the winner of the last edition also performs at the contest next year. But due to his heart surgery, this was of course in doubt for Salvador. More information on the show in Lisbon, its presenters and key venues can be found on our Lisbon 2018 Theme Page.

Salvador Sobral won Eurovision 2018 with his song “Amar Pelos Dois”:

Sobral will return to the stage. His performance will include new material alongside his winning song ‘Amar Pelos Dois’.

Other interval acts at Eurovision 2018

In a world exclusive, traditional Portuguese Fado artists Ana Moura and Mariza will, for the first time ever, perform together. Both acts will share the stage during the opening segment of the show for this landmark moment in Portuguese music history.

After them, the classic Eurovision flag parade will take place. Beatbombers, the artist who became world champion “Scratch Artists”, will do the soundtrack for this flag parade. Completing the Grand Final line-up is DJ Branko who will create an electronic journey of music around the world.
