Two candidates, Adva Omer and Ravit Batashvili, have been eliminated from HaKokhav HaBa, the talent show in Israel to find the artist for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. They lost their decisive battles and are out of the competition.
After the first round of battles, Netta Barzilai, Chen Aharoni, Riki Ben Ari and Jonathan Mergui became the first four direct qualifiers for the semi final stage of the competition. After a repechage round, Howie Danao and Eden Meiri were saved at the cost of Adva Omer and Ravit Batashvili.
The exact days of broadcast for the next show remains unclear, but it has been announced that the final, in which we will find out who will go to Lisbon, will be held on Tuesday the 13th of February.
