Skopje fest 2011 is going to be held in the end of February or in the beginning of March, in order to choose the FYR Macedonian Eurovision entrant in 2011. It is still unknown if the national final format will remain the same as last year, or if there will be just 1 big final instead of 2 semis and a final.
The lead singer of the famous FYR Macedonian band, Leb i sol, Kokan Dimusevski, is going to take over the place of the artistic director of the festival, again. He was in charge of Skopje fest back in 2000 and 2002.
Kokan says that his intention is to bring the festival to a very high quality level. Each participant will record the song in the studio they want, and it will be in order with the criteria of the EBU.
It is revealed that Skopje Fest will take part some time in late February or early March, and the correct date will be known some time in December.
