Sweden: Cities & dates for MF announced

SVT, the national broadcaster of Sweden, has announced the six cities that will host the shows of the Melodifestivalen 2015.

The final of the Melodifestivalen will be held on the 14th of March in Stockholm with 12 songs competing, while there will be a total of seven songs in each semi final. The top two entries from each semi final will qualify to the grand final, the third and the fourth will qualify to the second chance show. Four entries in total will qualify from the second chance to the final in Stockholm. The winner of the Melodifestivalen 2015 will represent Sweden in Vienna and Eurovision 2015.

Semi final 1: 7th of February, Göteborg, Scandinvium (previous hosted in:2003–2014)
Semi final 2: 14th of February, Malmö, Malmö Arena (2004, 2009–2014)
Semi final 3: 21st of Februari, Östersund, Östersund Arena (debute)
Semi final 4: 28th of February, Örebro, Conventum Örebro (2010)
Second chance: 7th of March, Helsingborg, Helsingborg Arena (debute)
Final: 14th of March, Stockholm, Friends Arena (2002–2014; 2002–2012 in Ericsson Globe)
