Sweden: Måns Zelmerlöw does not see himself as favourite

Even though he is doing extremely well in the polls and the bookmakers think he could win Eurovision 2015, Måns Zelmerlöw doesn’t think he is the big favourite this year. He tells this to ESC Daily, and also spills that he wants to conquer Australia after Europe…

“Conquer Australia would also be nice, I love how layed back people are over there and how genuinely happy they seem to be,” says Zelmerlöw about our home soil during Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam. He also likes the entry from Guy Sebastian: “Australia has a great guy and a great song. I also like the song from Estonia, I actually start to get a bit nervous. I don’t see myself as the big favourite.”

Måns Zelmerlöw tried to represent Sweden two times before, but he failed to win Melodifestivalen. Three turned out to be the ucky number, after his landslide victory with the song ‘Heroes’. “Finally, that’s the correct term to describe my feelings. Eurovision has always been a dream of mine. And now I am finally here in my third try. Another dream is to do a big European tour, I’ve never been as close as I am now.”
