Sweden: Måns Zelmerlöw wins Melodifestivalen 2015

At his third attempt, Måns Zelmerlöw has won Melodifestivalen. After finishing third in 2007 and fourth in 2009, he now has got the privilege to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest with his song ‘Heroes’.

Zelmerlöw won the international jury voting procedure as well as the Swedish televote with a landslide victory. Jon Henrik Fjällgren finished in second place, Mariette got the bronze medal. Our Australian nationals of JTR finished in tenth place.

Mans Zelmerlöw (27) took part in Idols in 2005 and rose to fame in Sweden after his fourth place there. The real big breakthrough came after ‘Cara Mia’, his first Melodifestivalen song.
