Switzerland: First candidates revealed

SRF, the German-language public broadcaster of Switzerland, has released the first shortlist of potential artists for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. There are no familiar names in there, except for Barbara Berta, who represented Switzerland in 1997 and Omar Naber, who sang for Slovenia in 2005.

SRF has given people the chance to cast their vote for their favourite until the 26th of October. They will eventually, after a second phase, come up with three acts that will be in the national final on the 13th of February 2016.

Other broadcasters that will deliver acts for that final are RTS, RSI und RTR. You can find the songs from Berta and Naber by clicking on their name.
