Ukraine: NTU plans to return in Stockholm

Ukraine will return to Eurovision. According to press agency Interfax, director Zurab Alasania from broadcaster NTU has stated that the country is working on preparation plans for Stockholm 2016.

“Yes, we’ve decided [to participate], now [we will] get down to work. [We are] Looking for the ways to do it better,” Alasania said on Tuesday. Ukraine withdrew from Eurovision last year, stating the country only wanted to participate when it had the means to go for a top result.

According to Interfax, the Ukrainian broadcaster is working on a plan for the 2016 competition involving ‘a big Ukranian TV-station.’ Further details about the Ukranian selection, however, are yet to be revealed.
