Uku Suviste qualifies, Greta Paia out for Eesti Laul final

The final six qualifiers for the grand final of Eesti Laul 2019 are known after the broadcast of the second semi-final on Saturday night. Uku Suviste (The Voice Russia contestant) made it to the final whereas Greta Paia (Eesti Laul 2013 runner-up) did not advance.

The final twelve acts competed in the second semi-final and the decision was made by a combination of jury votes and televoting. The first four qualifiers were determined by a 50/50 split, and they were confirmed as:

  • Sissi – “Strong”
  • Kadiah – “Believe”
  • Kerli Kivilaan – “Cold Love”
  • Uku Suviste – “Pretty Little Liar”

Then there was a second round of televoting to choose the final two qualifiers from the remaining acts. They were announced as:

  • Lumevärv feat. INGA – “Milline päev”
  • Sünne Valtri – “I’ll Do It My Way”

Eesti Laul 2019 will conclude on 16 February with the national final in which the Estonian entry for Eurovision 2019 will be decided.
