In February 2020, Daði Freyr and Gagnamagnið won the Icelandic national selection Söngvakeppnin. They were going to perform their song ‘Think About Things’ at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2020. It might be a completely new song, but the family aspect will stay with him as his wife, Árný Fjóla Ásmundsdóttir, plays keyboard in the group Gagnamagnið.
