“You have to face your bad memories in order to move on”

Nadir Rustamli explains the meaning of his Eurovision song “Fade to black”. He also speaks about the impressive staging at his Eurovision press conference.

Through an interpreter, Nadir tells us: “Some of our memories can be really hard to bear. In order to go further, you have to face them and then leave them behind. This is exactly what I do in the staging of the song. I climb the stairs, I take one step after another, and then I am facing my fears – literally.”
