Zibbz wins Swiss final and goes to Lisbon

Zibbz has won the Entscheidungsshow 2018 in Switzerland and will represent that country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. They will sing the song ‘Stones’ in Lisbon.

Zibbz consists of Corinne Gfeller and her brother Stee Gfeller who have won tonight’s national final with their pop-rock entry “Stones”. The pair have previously performed at rock concerts and festivals both together and as solo artists in Switzerland and abroad.

Zibbz will perform “Stones” for Switzerland during the second half of the first semi-final on 8th May in Lisbon.

  3. Vanessa Iraci – Redlights 67pt
  4. Chiara Dubey – Secrets and lies 66pt
  5. Angie Ott – A thousand times 65pt
  6. Naeman – Kiss me 33pt

The vote was split 50-50 between jury and televotes. Zibbz won both the jury and televote tonight by a considerate margin. The jury results were as follows:

  1. What an ugly song. Again it lacks personality and soul. Repetitive and nothing original. Will struggle to qualify or even to get close to qualification.
